Spring Training Seminars – Dublin and Kilkenny

This spring I will offer three training seminars each one delivered in a fun relaxed pleasant hotel environment, and each focused on a participatory learning experience that will serve you and your organisation well in 2012. Each workshop costs €130.00 per participant inclusive of two coffee breaks, take home resource pack to share the learning, and three follow up coaching calls to facilitate practical action as a result of the new learning.

Reflective Practise – Effective Project Management in a time of less resources

Work Smarter – Feel Better

Reflective Practice will bring a new level of professionalism to your organization that will add value to everything you do, sharpen your focus and give you the tools and resources you need to continue to work meaningfully and make a real contribution during this time of diminished resources.

You will go home with a personalised work plan for 2012, a toolkit to draw on and three scheduled back up coaching sessions to support your on going learning and positive change in your workplace.

Planning for Outcomes Based Work 2012

Outcomes based work is the response to the realization that especially in a time of diminished funding ‘trying is not good enough’ – we need to be able to show results in simple clear language.

You will go home with a planning framework that will help you to validate and measure the work of your project(s) for 2012, a toolkit to draw on and three scheduled back up coaching sessions to support your ongoing learning in the workplace.

Seminar Three

Empowering Volunteers for Real Participation

Meaningful and real participation of volunteers requires resourcing and support. Volunteers, and those who support them will go home from this workshop with a project specific plan for skills development in 2012, a toolkit to draw on, and three scheduled back up coaching sessions to support on going learning within the organisation.

Profile

My educational background includes Bacc Phil, BD, Dip Social Care, Dip Women’s Studies, Dip Advanced Facilitation Skills, and Dip Coaching. I am currently enrolled in a two year Spiritual Direction Course with Anamcharadas.

I have over twenty years experience across the Youth, Community, Social Care, and Disability Sectors. Some of my experience is in adult education and I have designed and delivered courses for University College Cork, National University of Ireland Maynooth and Waterford Institute of Technology.

I have provided training and support to a broad range of organisations, and delivered many external evaluations and strategic plans, as well as tailored responses to specific challenges faced by local, regional and national organisations.

Over the years I have developed my own style of facilitation and coaching which have been very successful in helping many individuals and groups to meet their particular developmental needs.
